U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to leave soon for visit to Taiwan

U.S. Speaker of the House Pelosi officially announced her trip to Asia on July 31. She announced on Twitter that she will lead a delegation of lawmakers to hold high-level meetings in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Malaysia. He did not mention his visit to Taiwan, the focus of the trip.

A carrier strike group led by the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan entered the South China Sea. The U.S. Navy's Seventh Fleet explained that the exercise was originally planned.
Commander Haley Sims, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Navy's 7th Fleet based in Japan, responded to a Bloomberg News inquiry by saying, "Ronald Reagan and the strike group are now sailing through the South China Sea after a successful port call in Singapore. He added that they are "continuing their normal and scheduled exercises as part of their patrols in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific."
According to a U.S. Navy release, Ronald Reagan departed from Changi Naval Base, Singapore, on March 26 after a five-day port call.

KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft
